Niras – World class induction bending

Testing/ Evaluation & Result

Excellence in quality assurance and documentation

As demands for quality in the international manufacturing and offshore industries increase, so do the requirements for quality assurance and documentation. Generally, the more bends and welds, the higher the documentation costs. By using induction bending you can eliminate many welded joints, thus also reducing the volume of testing and documentation.

Automatic quality surveillance during the bending process assures high quality and reduced documentation costs. Using advanced instrumentation, all stages of the bending process are documented.

Our computers print out temperature and other parameters to document that the bending has been carried out according to specifications. Wall thickness and ovality are also carefully monitored so as to satisfy normal requirements for standard bends. All data is stored and can be used later for similar operations.

NIRAS complies with all the high international quality demands of ISO 9002. We make sure to apply the clearly defined quality and safety requirements to all stages of production.
